A STUDY ON PROFESSIONAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE SECONDARYSCHOOL TEACHERS

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the professional adjustment of secondary school teachers in durg district. Professional Adjustment is a crucial concept with lot of importance in teacher’s life. Teachers are the major components of education they play important role to determine future generations. For the present study a survey was conducted on a sample of 100 secondary school teachers working in 20 different schools of Durg district, Chattisgarh. The required data was collected with the help of tool Teachers Professional Adjustment Inventory by A H Rizvi (2017). The findings revealed no significant difference in Professional Adjustment on the basis of gender and marital status of secondary school teachers but found a significant difference in Professional Adjustment between Government and Private Secondary School Teachers.
